Under his leadership, the sector achieved remarkable growth, with exports rising by 50% from $13 billion in FY18 to $19.4 billion in FY22. This transformative progress not only created millions of jobs but also attracted investments exceeding $5 billion in advanced technology and infrastructure, solidifying the textile industry's role as a cornerstone of Pakistan’s economy.

His leadership also extends to key institutions, including his role as Chairman of the Federal Board of Revenue’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee and advisory positions in the Governor’s Business Advisory Committee and TEVTA.

Beyond his industrial achievements, Dr. Gohar Ejaz has made a profound impact on healthcare and social welfare through his philanthropic efforts. Serving as Chairman of Jinnah Hospital and Allama Iqbal Medical College since 2019, he has spearheaded transformative initiatives, including the establishment of the Sheikh Ejaz Ahmed Trust Dialysis Center, which provides over 50,000 free treatments annually. Through the Gohar Ejaz Foundation, he has focused on improving education and healthcare for underserved communities. Notable programs include the National Outreach Program, offering fully funded scholarships to deserving students at leading institutions such as LUMS and Allama Iqbal Medical College. During the COVID-19 pandemic, his foundation distributed essential rations to more than 100,000 families and ensured millions of free meals annually for hospital patients and their attendants in collaboration with the Lahore Institute of Health Sciences and Indus Hospital & Health Network.
