As Patron-in-Chief All Pakistan Textile Mills Association, he has been instrumental in fostering a turnaround in the Textile sector of Pakistan which has created millions of new jobs as well as generating an additional $6-7 billion worth of exports by the Textile sector alone in a short span of 2 years.

Hilal-i-Imtiaz (2022)

Conferred by the President of Pakistan for philanthropic services in health, education, and the business community. The investiture ceremony was held on Pakistan Day, 23rd March 2023.

Sitara-e-Imtiaz (2011)

Awarded by the President of Pakistan in recognition of leadership and services to the community.

Shaan-e-Pakistan Award (2020)

Conferred by the President of Pakistan for philanthropic contributions.

Honorary Doctorate in Management (2021)

Awarded by the University of Punjab in recognition of outstanding services in business management.

Achievements in Textile Sector

Spearheaded a 50% increase in Pakistan's textile exports, from $13 billion in FY18 to $19.4 billion in FY22. Secured regionally competitive energy pricing for Pakistan’s export sectors. Attracted $5 billion in new investments in the textile industry.

COVID-19 Relief Leadership

Led welfare operations through the Gohar Ejaz Foundation and Lahore Institute of Health Sciences (LIHS). Distributed rations to approximately 100,000 deserving families. Provided millions of free meals annually during the pandemic.

Healthcare Contributions

Established the Sheikh Ejaz Ahmed Trust Dialysis Center at Jinnah Hospital in 2006. Comprises 56 dialysis machines with a capacity of 50,000 annual dialysis treatments, provided free of cost. Facilitated dialysis machines for a center in Kharan, Balochistan.

Education Contributions

Founded the National Outreach Program under the Gohar Ejaz Foundation in 2016. Provides fully funded scholarships to 100 deserving students annually at institutions like LUMS and Allama Iqbal Medical College. Facilitated scholarships for students to study abroad.

Commitments to Healthcare Expansion

Pledged Rs. 10 billion (Rs. 2 billion per year) for the expansion of the Indus Hospital & Health Network.
