Sheikh Ejaz Ahmed Trust
The Sheikh Ejaz Ahmed Trust, established in honor of the late visionary Sheikh Ejaz Ahmed, stands as a testament to his legacy of compassion and commitment to societal welfare. Founded by Dr. Gohar Ejaz, the Trust is dedicated to addressing critical healthcare challenges in Pakistan, with a focus on providing free, high-quality medical services to underserved communities.
A flagship project of the Trust is the Sheikh Ejaz Ahmed Trust Dialysis Center, located at Jinnah Hospital, Lahore. This state-of-the-art facility, established in 2006, houses 56 dialysis machines and has the capacity to perform over 50,000 free dialysis treatments annually. It has become a lifeline for thousands of patients suffering from chronic kidney disease, offering life-saving care without financial burden. The center operates with an annual budget exceeding Rs. 200 million, entirely funded by the Trust, ensuring accessibility and sustainability.
Beyond dialysis care, the Trust extends its reach to remote areas, providing essential medical equipment and support to regions like Kharan, Balochistan, where access to healthcare is limited. This initiative ensures that communities in need are not left behind in receiving critical medical assistance.
